Overnight Camp
Sharon Country Day offers optional overnight sessions for children entering grades 3-5 and grades 6-9. The youngsters sleep in cabins and are served delicious meals. In the late afternoon, all the facilities of the camp are available to campers for use in supervised free play. Evening activities after supper include special events such as movies, rollerblading, (United Skates of America), campfires, etc.
We limit the enrollment to 60 campers per overnight session enabling us to maintain the excitement of group participation, while still being able to provide maximum coverage for the well-being of the individual youngster. Overnights are extremely popular and fill up very quickly.
The entire program is under the personal supervision of the Director and the Head Counselor assisted by key personnel from the staff.
Our camp is conveniently located just off Route 1 and 95 on the Walpole/Sharon line & only a few miles north of Patriot’s Place

About Sharon Country Day Camp
Sharon Country Day began in 1961, 50 years ago this year in Walpole Massachusetts. Founders Charlie and Corrine Hershman, who along with their children, Stuart, Craig and Rhonda, still own and operate the camp today. Their long history includes a tradition of teaching children culture, enrichment, sportsmanship, courage, leadership, self confidence and self assurance through every summer camp activity and sport under the sun.
Charlie and Corrines dream was to bring the experience of an overnight camp that is far away, close to home. That is exactly what they have done here at SCDC.
From Nature to the Massachusetts Audubon Program to Native American, American Red Cross Swim Instruction, Color Games, Overnights/Fire Circle and every other specialty activity and sport, your child will have the most fulfilling summer with us. Come and visit us and you will see what makes us different and that we truly are family.
