Color games have been an integral part of our camp program for forty years. It is a tradition steeped with Indian and tribal customs and carried on from summer to summer by campers and counselors.

The entire camp is divided into two evenly matched teams, maroon and white, each headed by chiefs (staff), composed of campers grouped as scouts, hunters, warriors, braves, bowmen, and medicine men. Campers from each bunk grouping participate in various athletic activities and contests, highlighted by special all camp events including original plays and presentations, songs and cheers, nature scavenger hunts, tugs, all tribe relays, track and field days, swim meets, and cross country relays
.
Color games creates an atmosphere of enthusiasm and fun, and most importantly, affords children the opportunity to participate in pressure free, healthy competition, where the emphasis is on participation, effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship - where each individual child can truly feel a part of something very special.
