Consists of 4 periods in the am – one of which is Instructional Swim

After the morning activities is a lunch and rest period, followed by Free play, Ice Cream  Break, Free/General Swim , and then final activity of the day.

At Sharon Country Day, the camp Director is also the Program Director and as such is directly responsible for the planning and scheduling of the daily program for the entire camp. Our goal is to ensure that each camper is exposed to, and participates in, all of the varied activities the camp has to offer.

Campers are grouped by gender and the grade they’re entering. Each group has their own cabin (home away from home) and picnic tables for lunch and ice cream break. The  number of campers in any grouping range between 14 and 18 with staff ratios for younger campers being 1-5, and for older campers 1 – 6.

Campers bring their own lunch – refrigeration is available.  We provide milk/juice with lunch and ice cream each day following the free play period.

Optional canteen is offered for a small fee.  Campers choose a daily snack to have at lunchtime, i.e.  Smart Food, Fritos, chips, Funyons, and one day a week they select their choice of candy.

Camp accepts the philosophy that rest and relaxation play a major role in a well-planned camp program. A rest period follows noon lunch and mid afternoon ice cream break.
